ABOUT OLD LINE ELEPHANT: Old Line Elephant is the personal blog / website of a conservative engineer from Maryland, Matthew Newman. I have been blogging since 2004; what began as a hobby on a simple, html based site eventually developed into Old Line Elephant. ABOUT THE AUTHOR - MATTHEW NEWMAN: Matthew Newman is a conservative engineer originally from New York. Newman is an Evangelical Christian, a husband, a father, a conservative, and a Star Wars fan. He is ashamed of none of those things and, as this is his website, speaks to each of those topics at various times. Newman currently resides in Maryland with his wife and two children just outside of Baltimore.
